I'm an ex London journalist now digital marketing consultant based in Cambridge, UK. I have been offering my skills to various charities and non-profit organisations throughout my career. I strongly believe in giving back to the community.

  • 2014-2020: University of Cambridge/NVS, Empty Common Garden, Milton Road Library, Form the Future, U3AC

  • 2010-2013: PTA involvement and Better Reading Partnership volunteer at primary school. Honorary Consultant at NHS clinics. Committee member of parents' forum (events and fundraising). Parent helper at preschool. Publicity role at Cambridge Carbon Footprint.

  • 2007-2011: Designed, edited and produced newsletters for local branches of the NCT. The Cambridge edition won Best Charity Magazine in Cambridgeshire in 2012.

  • 1997-1999: Archivist and committee member of Women in Publishing, London. Traced and set up the archive; organised themed meetings and gave presentations.

  • 1994-1995: Fundraiser at Drive For Youth, London. Helped to set up the office, assisted the Marketing Manager and trained volunteers in IT skills. Duties included fundraising and database creation/management. Coordinated the House of Commons' presentation and raised over GBP 10,000 through direct mail.
